You don't have to log it there and then
There's more than one way to get an expense down.
- Ten seconds, on the spot. Get one expense down quickly
- Back at the room, the whole day in one go
Doing it from memory at night means entering them one at a time, and you tend to stall around the third. Type an amount, pick who's sharing, type another amount. It starts to feel like admin.
We'd rather it didn't, so there's a way to write the lot at once.
Hand Receipteller the whole day.
Write it however it comes out

Order doesn't matter. One line or ten.
Yesterday still works, and so does the day before: put yesterday or Sunday on the line and it lands on that date. Say nothing about the day and it's today's.
Currency works the same way. A bare number counts as the currency where you are. Paid in something else that day? Add a line saying "all of this was in yen".
The "?" beside the field opens whenever you want it, with a worked example of all of this.

Can't be bothered typing? Say it
Dictation is quicker on the walk back anyway. Reel off what you spent as you go.
"dinner six thousand split with everyone, taxi was me and No2, convenience store just me one eighty"
Then send it.
Check the list before it goes in
Chillwari breaks what you wrote into one expense per line, sorted into "Split with the group" and "Just yours".
Amounts, dates, categories and names are already filled in. Untick anything you'd rather skip, hit add, and it's done.

What else Receipteller reads
- Anything with a receipt: Can't read the receipt? Split it anyway
- Flights and hotels: Screenshot your booking, Receipteller does the rest
- A wallet or transit card history: A day of taps, logged in one go
